The information provided here is based on my own individual usage and perspective and may not apply to everyone's situation. Your experience with your EV may differ significantly depending on factors like:

  • Vehicle model and year: Different EV models have varying features, performance, and range capabilities.

  • Driving habits and conditions: Your driving style, climate, and typical routes can greatly impact range and overall performance.

  • Charging infrastructure: Availability and accessibility of charging stations in your area will influence your charging experience.

  • Individual preferences and needs: What works for me might not be the best fit for you, and vice versa.

Therefore, while I strive to provide accurate and helpful information, please remember that:

EV Today: Need more Range? Switch to Sports

Source: Electric Car Scheme EVs are currently a totally new technology which is emerging in today’s time. As a result, many new owners and potential buyers has great interest in knowing about their functioning and how they perform under extreme tests. This is also leading to a huge confusion among potential EV buyers about what kw of battery will give a particular amount of range. This becomes even complex as its not constant always. Several factors affect the range which you can extract from a particular battery capacity. List of factors which can affect the range of an electric vehicle are listed below 1.        Tyre pressure 2.        Wind Resistance (Car Aerodynamics) 3.        Car Weight 4.        Tyre profile 5.        Driving pattern 6.        Battery Capacity 7.     ...

Does latest Tata cars have active balancer support?

Source: Tata Motors We all know that earlier versions of tata cars only had passive balancers which was causing issue with battery balancing over a longer run. Because of this few of the battery packs were also required to be balanced externally in order to bring them back to operational conditions. Since a very long time it was being believed that Tata EV cars are only using passive balancers for balancing their battery packs. But recent studies done by us has revealed results of possibility of presence of Active Balancers in recent cars. Passive Balancer: It is a kind of balancer which only balances all the cells of the battery pack when it is charged all the way up to 100% and having a voltage delta. Active Balancer: This balancer has the capability to balance the cells of the battery pack whenever it finds voltage delta between the cells of the battery pack. Hence, this can prove to be better option and convenient too for having a balanced battery pack with minimal issues. Fo...

Charging Recommendations for NMC batteries

Source: HopptBattery In EV industry, mainly 2 types of batteries are commonly used in today's time. These batteries are either NMC batteries or LFP batteries. Both these batteries are having their own unique properties which makes them suitable for different applications. In this article, we will be primarily focusing our attention on NMC batteries. NMC batteries are in application since a long time from teslas because of the simplicity of their usage and application. But with time, as need arised, different varieties of lithium batteries were developed. But still NMC batteries are quite popular in number of electric vehicles all around the world. Even though being used in lesser number of electric vehicles, still NMC batteries form significant number in 2 wheeler ev's. Even though NMC batteries provides quite lots of benefits over LFP batteries, people dont tend to choose NMC over LFP batteries. Due to the higher number of usage, one needs to learn best practices to follow whi...
